\nOne of our standout cases involved representing a Mumbai-based client with lubricant operations in Hosur. The lubricant was supplied at a concessional rate of 4% against Form 17, meant for raw material purchases in Tamil Nadu. However, the assessing officer disallowed this under Form 17, imposing an additional 8% sales tax, interest, and penalties amounting to approximately 55 lakhs.
